Transparency in Coverage Required Notice

The Transparency in Coverage final rule, published in 2020 by the U.S. Departments of Health & Human Services, Labor, and Treasury, requires health plans to publish machine-readable files detailing their payment arrangements with health care providers. The machine-readable files are written in computer code and formatted to allow researchers, regulators, and application developers to access and analyze data in bulk. The files are too large to download or open on most personal computers. To access the machine-readable files created and published by UnitedHealthcare on our behalf, please click here.
